The whole island is made out of beautiful places, not the flatest place on earth, but made for walking,as long as You got a hat, water, binoculars,a decent stick and walking boots! The north of the island is steeper, with lovely bays and villages, while the south is gentler, with lovely beaches and villages.
If I were to go on my own,I think I would first like to do the coast route, which doesn't really exist, then walk the interior, should take about 5 years.
Take the time to visit Corfu town, and take the ferry to Vido, the island half a mile off the town, say hello to my sioster Jill, who runs her little bar outside the taverna, and walk round and across the island. There are lovely views of Corfu,Albania and the Greek mainland.Vido is full of surprises, tame wild rabbits and pheasants, there is a herd of shhep and goats, and a nature reserve, bobbo
