Hi

has the resolution size for the website been changed? Seemed like the website was designed for 800x600 when we first started using it, but now seems like 1024... now have to scroll across to view forum messages.

If it's changed to 1024 that would mean that the screen would require less scrolling?

Hi again

will stand corrected if wrong, but if viewing a website designed for viewing with 1024 and own pc is set to 800, then usually means more scrolling.

My pc is set to 1024, hence why I said it would require less scrolling

Is it not possible to set yours to 1024?

Hi Mac,

I think its something to do with the new CTG banner at the top of the page, Nathan assumed everyone had a 17" monitor or larger, but it seems you have a small one like me!!

He did say he would look into it at some point to avoid horizontal scrolling, I am sure when he gets a spare five minutes he will do just that

I've got a 17" monitor and I've got to scroll.

How do I know what resolution my Monitor is.

Sorry forget the question just realised if I'd maximized my picture no scrolling is required, computers are not my strong point.

Hi again all

Yes I am one of those who still have a 15" monitor.... setting that size monitor to 1024 would mean even stronger reading glasses

Mine is 15" (LOL) but I don't scroll unless a link from the search is in a post.

Yes I admit I have a small one, never was one to brag anyway I can see just as much with my little one.  Just have to scroll along till it gets bigger. Like Mac said to alter I would need much magnifed lenses.   baza

Nathan,

I've noticed the banner has grown again, leading to horizontal scrolling,  is it intentional or just a blip?

Ooops, sorry about that. I had problems with the new menu I was adding. (Remember the April 1st posting problems?) Well I reverted to an older site header, but it looks like I must have choosen one from too far back! Sorry about that.

Fixing it now.
