Can you tell me about the weather in Lefkada. We plan to visit in May 2009 and want to be sure that the weather will be perfect. Any other advice about choosing a holiday on Lefkada will be welcome.

Hi MY876 - if you want to be sure that the weather will be perfect, you're probably on the wrong website. Try www.mysticmeg.co.uk.

Seriously, there's no way you can be sure of perfect weather - even in July & August. In the Ionian you can normally expect temps around mid to high 70s in May. It can be chilly enough to need a jumper in the evenings, and don't be surprised if you see some rain, although it's usually fairly brief showers and you should still get plenty of sunshine during the day.
