Having just read what Chrysilla said re the Leishmania vaccine, would love to find out more. Our vet here in the UK said there was no vaccine for Leishmania (didn't say anywhere so maybe he thought only for the UK) is this something being developed now, any info would be much appreciated, as we too are bringing our dog later this year and have read quite a lot of horror stories regarding this horrible disease. As we understand it the only 'prevention' is a collar, and avoid dawn and dusk when the flies are most active. If a vaccine is to become available soon it will stop a lot of worrying.

Hi
All the boarders are open so driving down you do not have to stop, yes we had all papers on the safe side if we were stoped.
Laura and Aron got a tablet each to keep them stress free as thay could not be let out.
Might be werth looking into, what with the drive and then the boat trip, having sed that Gisela son drove down the other week but their dog was fine with out one.

Ray.
