By some miracle we are up to date with our tax returns and even submitted what paperwork we had for 2008 however our accountant has pointed out a new problem that we need to overcome.
We knew about getting the "Pink slip" but were told that the way we sent money to Corfu via an internet exchange company is no longer accepted by the tax office ie the money has to go from my bank straight to the bank in Corfu .
Has anyone else encountered this problem yet ?
I know the solutions going forward but need to get around the problem with 2008 if we can .

Wilkie what invaluable info, if this is correct you should maybe post as( everyone must read this) .I did one transaction through currency solutions last year and had no problems. This year i just transfered straight from my account thank goodness, but I am sure many people use currency exchanges to try and get a better rate.
My accountant did not mention any changes when I handed everything in last week.If you can show through your bank statement the payment out to the company you used you would think that would be enough, but maybe not for the Greek tax office. good luck
