We discovered that the IKA due on our building hadnt been paid. (That's another story!) We have agreed to pay amount owing along with the fine on a monthly basis. We asked when we arranged this at the IKA office if this could be paid by DD or Standing order from our UK bank but were told this was not possible. Knowing that the info received depends on the person giving it, has anyone ever managed to set up a payment from UK Banks to a government department in Corfu?

Hi
Why not ask your solicitor to make the payments and then just transfer monies to his account?

If for some reason you do not have a solicitor, I can recommend one to you.

Thanks for the advice. We have made arrangements to pay via friends so will continue with this method.
