Hi all
Not making it to Corfu this year and am truly gutted.
I am torturing myself going on this site every day!
I'm thinking about next year and was wondering if anyone knows what companies do a package holiday for three weeks - ideally in Acharavi

A couple we met last year at the Zafiris in Sidari where their on a 3 week break. As the Zafiris is First Choice UK exclusive I would say First Choice. Most should do it, however you will probably have to ring them.

Hi Clare we have just come back after three weeks but we did the independent way. Flight then hotel. You will be better ringing the companies than shops or online but for some reason they are reluctant to do it. We have done 3 and 4 weeks with package before, just try and see but we found the flights a lot dearer this year. We do expect to pay more because we like decent flight times. We did silly times when we were younger (not anymore if we can help it) sue

Hi Claremarie - my hubby and I tried this about 3 years ago for our honeymoon and it wasn't possible. You would be far better as the other guys have suggested by booking it independently. If you are looking for accommodation in Acharivi, here are a few options:-
Travel With Friends (Castaway Travel) - www.twfcorfu.com
Harry's Apartments in Acharavi } put these into google
Filorian Apartments } search and it should bring someting up.
Hope this helps

We have been twice to Acharavi, both times independently.
We had 17 days and 8 days
Easyjet fly everyday from Gatwick (twice in the summer)
Accommodation booked separately
Hired a car straight from the airport (so no transfer costs)
3 weeks is definitely do-able if you can't get a package.

My daughter's been to Acharavi a couple of times with Travel with Friends and thought they were very good. They even arrange transfers if you want them so all you need to book separately is the flight.

I booked independently for 4 weeks two years ago, that includes flights, car and accomidation, it is no different from booking independently anywhere in the world. Just gone through same process for 3 weeks in August.

In fact, Easyjet fly from Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester to Corfu now, making it even easier to get flights. Thompsons and Thomas Cook also do direct flights during the summer from various airports in the UK - so they're worth checking.
Another independent accommodation in Acharavi not mentioned above is Katerinas, they, like Harry's have their own websites and online booking facilities. I'd recommend either.

Hi Clare - you have obviously been here before so you know what to do, where to go and that it is very safe. Corfu is the land of independent travel, which means you can come here for two weeks, two months or two years. I know Roda best of all, and, without doubt, you could step off a 'plane, get a taxi to the village, go to the first place that takes your fancy and someone would suggest an apartment. There are many people, both young & old, who come here every year, often twice, and stay for up to four weeks at a time. Take a look at the Roda website to see just how many people travel independently.
