Thomsons do have some strange and annoying rules.

We are lucky in that we live quite close to Birmingham airport.

No holidays are available on Thomson's web-site from Birmingham to a particular hotel in Corfu for the whole of September so you assume either the hotel is fully booked or all the flights are sold out from Birmingham.

But there are numerous holidays available to THAT hotel from other UK airports, so that makes you assume that it is the Birmingham flights which are the problem and all are sold.

BUT you can book OTHER accommodation in Corfu leaving from Birmingham, so there ARE flights to Corfu available !!

Therefore each hotel must have its own allocation from each departure point !!
Is it just me being thick or did anyone else assume the flight part of the package was a general one to get you to Corfu. If there are flights and vacancies why can't we book?

OK! We can and will use another departure point but the extra petrol and car parking will add another £100+ onto the holiday cost.

Olympic Hoildays are good for trying to book two one way tickets i booked one way from birmingham on a monday for £50 and a return flight back into birmingham for £50 aswell very cheap and they have the same deals going from/to Manchester and Gatwick.

If your still looking have a look on their website.
