I now wait until the journey home and post all my cards from Corfu  airport. I've been doing this for a couple of years now and it seems to make a difference.

Have always had to post on the first or second day of holiday to stand any chance of them getting home before I do!

We posted two cards last year in the same box at the same time to addresses in England on the same street. One took 3 days and the other one took 4 weeks.

I've given up on sending postcards these days...... I buy them with the best will in the world,  then forget to write them until the last minute, and forget to post them and end up bringing them home with me

It depends where you post from. It's best to post your cards at a post office (rather than drop them in a postbox in the middle of nowhere, where post is collected once a week). I regularly get letters from Greece and on average I find it takes 3-4 days. I've just received a card today (Tuesday) that was posted in Athens on Friday.

The fastest I've had a letter arrive from Greece was 2 days. The longest was two weeks (but that was a parcel that had been missent to Bangkok and redirected from there).
