Dennis I think your comparison of 2Tonsils'wonderful reports with a certain Mr Fish is wide-of-the-mark. He got it wrong!!

Although I don't have a property on Corfu I'm keen to know what is happening on my favourite Greek Island.

So thanks to 2Tonsils and others for the updates

Agree David I would have said 2Tonsils more like our Bubbly Carol on BBC1 Weather.

I'm sure Dennis really meant the Petroula Kostidou award (meant in the best possible taste!!)

And just incase anyone doesn't know who Petroula is, or indeed just needs cheering up, here is Greece's darling of the weather forecasts : Petroula

Hi Bill,
Love it. I remember someone, who shall be nameless, sitting in our local taverna watching the weather forecast absolutely enthralled.

Her current replacement, the nerd who does the forecast in rap is a very poor substitute!

For someone who has never met me Bill...you know me so well.

It would never be allowed on the BBC you know.

I'm afraid I would have forgotten what the weather was going to be like if she was to do it here on the BBC, that's if I had realised she was doing the weather in the first place

Must say...That was one lucky little dog

Haven't had any storms tonight yet thank goodness, but it has just started pouring with rain again in Sinarades. Most of the street lights are out but the houses seem to have electric okay.
