I have now booked flights through easyjet. I'm sure this has been asked before but here goes.
It states on my confirmation at the top urgent you cannot fly without this information one or more destinations in your booking require you to provide travel document information in order to comply with local security laws.
Please tell me what this means???? we are staying at a friend's complex gratis as a wedding gift do I assume they want me to provide some kind of invoice confirming my stay with them???
Very confused - all advice much appreciated.
Also can some kind forumster provide me with the link for alfacars so I can keep it to book my taxi
Thank you muchly.

I don't think that this has anything to do with where you are staying - rather, it is a request for your passport details and so on. I think you can access this by going to the "manage my flight" tab on the Easyjet website.
Although this information is not, yet, actually require this information, many destinations do and it's easier for the airlines to treat everyone the same, rather than being selective. It's all part of the UK Government's "electonic boarders) policy, whereby the movement of every person - in or out of the country - must be notified beforehand, on an electonic basis.
Sorry, can't help with Alphacars.

YES Michelle, they want your passport details.
A yellow box will appear, fill in your details correctly.
If you don't or they don't correspond at check in when your passport is viewed ,you wont be allowed to fly.

Martyn is quite right, if my memory serves me, there is a tab after that alert message which will lead you to the page you need, just fill in the relevant details and they are then stored for future bookings, you only have to do it once.

This is very interesting .... I too have recently booked flights with Easyjet and completed the form with our passport information and yet I still received an email with the same notification as Michelle has described above. On the same theme, this isnt the first time we have booked with Easyjet and we have provided this information previously so had thought we wouldnt be asked for it twice!
regards, Kath.

When I booked a flight it had remembered all of the previous passport information for each person and asked if the information was to be copied across for that new booking. If you said yes, it should have been commuted across as ours has been.
