Sylvie and I went to the festival and we think it was beyond expectation.
Not one or two thousand people as announced though. Sooner four to six hundred, but they nicely filled the central square in Ag.Ioannis. Quite a cozy setting, really.
The supporting acts did a real good job warming up the crowd. Especially Omega 5, the band of Steve Dell from Roda bar Casanovas.
Initially we thought they even generated more applause and cheering than The Dylan Project, but after 5 songs they too got the hang of it and the first people started dancing.
After the break, with a raffle for the benefit of two Corfu welfare organisations, The Dylan Project went full speed and the dance floor was packed.
All together a wonderful evening with very good music. Bravo organisers Phil and Paul, we sure hope there will be more like this in the future.

We went and had a great night and the rain held off so they were really lucky.
Paul Stenton - the lead guitarist of Omega5 - WOW!!! - I have seen all the greatest over the years including Hendrix, Clapton (going right backk to his Yardbird days supporting the Beatles) and even Santana and he is right up there. He was AMAZING!

Glad we went - well organised and surprisingly comfortable with OK food and drinks. Got to say did not rate any of the support bands - but thought Dylan Project were really very good - tight, professional and enjoyable.
Hope the organisers are pleased enough to try again next year.
Only dampener - too many brits there seemed to be more interested in the social chat than the music - and too many stood right in front of us talking loudly to compete with the band - i just don't get it.....

some friends that were staying on at our house went-we had to get home to uk so couldnt go..
they had a great time and then when the dylon project came on thought they had seen the double of the drummer who played at their wedding.
when the enquired ,it was indeed Brendon from local high peak band'gene therapy and the chromosomes' who they had as their band for their wedding in Buxton. so they had a little drink with him later on
small small world isnt it??

Thank you all very much for you enthusiasm and continued support, without which the show could not have taken place.
It was indeed a magical night and has galvanized us to proceed with Agiotfest10. We hope to learn from our many mistakes and put on an even bigger and better festival next year.. We will post here when further developments occur, certainly by the end of October. Thank you again for being with us at the start of something exciting.
Many thanks to all the musicians who gave of their best. The evening ran an hour overtime, a testament to their enjoyment.
