is there such a thing as a job working for a sailing company as a rep land side only.... if anyone knows of anything?????

Hi Janeto

You might be lucky with one of the bigger operators, such as Sailing Holidays (MD is Barrie Neilson) Odesseyus (used to know the MD, but since the company was sold a couple of years ago, I now have no contacts)or Sunsail (although they have no operation in Corfu).

You might also try Artemis, but this is smaller "family" run operation, so far as I know.

You might also try Sunsail (again - but they have a beachclub type operation in Nidri on the Island of Lefkas) as do Neilsen - no relation to Barrie, above).

Buy yourself a copy of "Yachting Monthly" and trawl through the holiday ads.

However, by and large, the "rep" activities for the flotilla operators are limited to collections from/deliveries to the airport and this is normally a task carried out by the lead crews/hosties who also take the groups out sailing (and so point out areas of local interest and organise side tours etc.)
