I've asked all sorts of people,in music shops,and i've even asked musicians,but no one knows,perhaps i imagined it,bobbo

Would it be this one Bobbo signomi by Antonis Remos. i often play greek music whilst i read the threads, youtube is awash with great songs from greece

Wouldn't have thought so, Bluemoon - Bobbo reckoned it was "Signomi something" and that he heard it in 1992. Remos didn't start recording until 1996, I believe.

Hi Linda2, yes I suppose he should stick to what he's best at - must be nice to be that talented though, he could probably sing anything.

Fair enough; they can sing. But they've got a way to go before they reach the standard of Dalaras/Bithikotsis or Glykeria/Marinella ....

I agree !! What a fabulous voice he has. I saw him at Wembley Conference Centre on his first visit to London in 1996 just as he was becoming famous. He sang 'Soma mou' and ' O Aetos' which are still very special songs in Greece. I saw him also on his second visit to Wembley Arena a few years ago and he was fantastic. He couldn't understand why no-one in the audience was allowed to dance, due to Health & Safety and all that. Not quite the same as in Greece !!

There are so many fabulous singers, I've also seen George Dalaras  in London, and Adonis Remos. I'd love to see them in Greece though, a totally different experience! There are so many different styles of song,I don't think you can say one is better that the other....it's a personal thing. Songs bring back memories of different times and places to everyone. I for one would be lost without my Greek music. OK, I'm off to play some now...................................
