Its very kind of you to offer. If the three adult females might be neutered (one has already been seen to)it would certainly help and I could afford a reasonable donation to AAWF. There are no adult males since Alexander was poisoned. I shall also consult my musical partner with a view to giving a concert in aid of AAWF if a suitable venue might be found.

I would be more than willing to help neuter one of your cats with a donation to the AAWF. My heart sank when you said you would consider drowning them. Please let me know, and any other members who might be willing to help what we can do to help!

Hi Julia, we visited Agni Taverna on 3rd October and wanted to visit you. Alex phoned but got no reply so you were probably out. Anyway purpose of our visit would have been to see your good work and sponsor a cat. I will now do so online in next few days (have to print off some details and discuss with Eve as we dont have PC at home).

Hi Dave & Eve,

What a shame we missed seeing you. We are in the UK now most of the time and restricted to visiting out of term time.

It would be really nice of you to sponsor a cat. There are several around looking for sponsors eg the one in my avatar, the ones ocay has taken in and Kira's Glyfada kittens that will be staying with Orchard until they can be re-homed.

We also have an older cat looking for a home if anyone can offer it. We suspect she was originally brought over from the UK or somewhere as she is quite large compared to the cats on Corfu. Also, we think she has already been neutered which is unusual for strays on Corfu. Angela has just taken her to be operated on to remove tumours on her ear. She is going to need some TLC poor girl!

I have just been talking to Angela about this older cat. We know that people move over to Corfu with animals imagining that everything will work out for them there and when they find it doesn't and they have to go back often the animals get left behind.

However, it is possible that someone has lost this cat so if anyone over there knows of a missing cat with tumours please let us know.

She is being operated on now and the vet thinks she is about 10 years old.

thank you everyone. what l was looking for ws a cattery for my cat for two weeks as l will be away for xmas..... l am based in Gastouri.....

and how much does it cost to get a male cat dealt with ( - his balls!!)

How much it costs cab vary according to which vet you use, where they are based, whether you are a foreigner etc.

Do you have a vet that you can ask?
