Ocay - you will not find anyone to take them off your hands on a permanent basis. I am receiving telephone calls daily asking us to take in cats and kittens because hotels are closing and the season is ending.
It is getting really ridiculous, visitors come here and care for the cats and kittens instead of letting them look after themselves. Placing food in central areas is better than taking them in as their own for such a short time and then they expect us to take them and we have nowhere to put them.
I would also point out ocay that 12 cats is a small number, most of my colleagues who live permanently on the Island and the people we are helping with neutering are feeding 20 plus.
It is a big problem we know and in order to keep the numbers down - why not get some neutered, start with the females and your numbers will then not increase.
