New laws say Motor bike riders must wear a helmet - However did not say where they should wear it, new sight in Corfu - Riders with Helmets on their arms!!

and dont you just love it when Dad is driving and has his crash helmet on and then has 2 or 3 kids behind with no protection!!!!!

my sis-in-law takes her daughter on the moped with her standing infront of her and holding onto handlebars!!!!  if you say anything you're out of order, also drives in the car with her standing between the front seats (she's only just 4), I refused to go in the car with her last year as I thought it was too dangerous!

My Brother-I-L turned up with his 1yr old in front of him his huge motor bike, apparently she likes him to take her for rides on his 1600cc motorbike!! I shouted but he just laughed and said "she wants to", since when should 1 yr olds have a mind to do what they want? It really, really upset me, I rather have a part of me cut off rather than let any (potential) child of mine on a motorbike or in a car without a belt, you just never know what could happen.

The Greeks are not as bad as the Malaysians we saw a family of 5 on a moped riding on the lines between cars and lorries. How they managed to all get on is a mystery.

I've seen a Greek lady have to stop to 'rearrange' herself, while trying to drive with a very tiny baby on her lap!!

We saw two lads on a moto in Kassiopi with the obligatory helmets on the elbow, and phone to one ear. 

But when they rode past again, the rider had his helmet on... then we twigged... you can't talk on your mobile with a helmet on!!!  Of course!  Why didn't we think of that earlier?

In Cyprus (where the traffic is frantic) I saw two Sri Lankan men on a moped. The 'passenger' was carrying a carrying a propane tank.
