My sister Rachel has recently moved to Corfu and I'm looking forward to visiting her as much as possible! Years ago Rachel lived in Athens for 10 years and we spent numerous holidays together while I was still young, free and single. Despite two teenage sons and a husband, I'm looking forward to re-kindling some of the old magic!!!

Welcome to this great site TaberShaw,which part of Corfu is your  sister living?,has she spent time on Corfu before, she proberly speaks Greek which must be amassive help when it comes to getting work etc. Anyway now you found this site hope we hear from you again somtime

Hi, I'm 'the sister' and am working at Agni Travel now, living close to Agni. Am looking forward to getting to know more people here and discovering the island more. I haven't lived here before - just in Athens - but have been coming to Corfu for nearly 30 years now!

Being a cinemaphile, I couldn't help but think of the 1952 movie and the 1983 mini-series "My Cousin Rachel."  Tee hee.  Sorry!

Rachel, the very best of luck to you, although you need it not, having a job at Agni and living on Corfu!

I'm just beginning to realise how difficult it's going to be to visit her during the winter!  Flights are a nightmare from the north of England.

Rachel is living near Agni.  This is an area I'm not familiar with at all and definitely can't remember from our family holidays when I was a kid - I know it's supposed to be very beautiful and my sister-in-laws says it's the 'posh' part!  By that I think she probably means a little bit more expensive and exclusive....?  Our family holidays were spent in Roda and Paleokastritsa (hope I've spelt that correctly) but all I really appreciated at the time was the beach!
