Hi Attica!!

A visit to the optician will cost you about €40.00 I can recommend a good one in Corfu Town if you PM me.

I buy my glasses online I'm afraid. Much as I really, really hate to take my money out of the country, glasses are very expensive. I have just been quoted for coated high-index lenses plus frame about €600 (I am very shortsighted which pushes the cost up). When you wear glasses everyday and need to replace them every 12-18months   you need a small fortune!!!

Hope this helps

Not much help to you just now Attica, but Cyprus is a good place to buy your specs if you're ever visiting the island!

Thanks for the info I know Cyprus is pretty good on prices, it seems the prices in Greece are similar to the UK
