Hi kary.

I believe the programme does. I remember seeing the same programme last year, and there was a follow up programme. In fact I think it was the actual follow up part we saw.

Lets hope so, it would be good. I do hope they make out OK, they put enough in to do so.

Best Wishes.

Just as matter of interest, I have placed all the posts from CHANNEL 4 8pm - 9pm into the topic headed NO GOING BACK. As they all relate to the same subject.

Cheers & Best Wishes.

What a great programme and what a lovely couple. They deserve to succeed in whatever they do. They are a loss to this country and an asset to Greece. Wasn't it nice to see the young one integrating into the infants school.? It was a testimony to a strong marriage, they obviously loved each other to bits.

It was in strong contrast to that  silly programme about the guy who couldn't have his panoramic window.( ugh.) screened a few weeks ago.

Hi Alecko,

That couple were really an inspiration to us all, especially the lucky ones who are thinking of uprooting from england to greece, they have shown with a lot of hard work and determination you can do it!! And what a lovely life their two young boys will have!

Alredy posted on this, but have to agree whole heartedly with Alecko. They new what they wanted from the outset, and set out to achieve it.

The eldest boy at school amazed me also how he was answering questions and learning in Greek. I am struggling like made to learn.

Good Luck again to them.

Best Wishes.

Hi folks

I went off to my nightschool class, forgot to set the vcr and MISSED IT!!!!!!!

I had read a review in the Radio Times which indicated they were in for a lot of heartache and it was  difficult to watch.  Nice to know they made it in the end.

My uncle and aunt moved out to Crete just 12 months ago.  Fortunately they do not have to work.  They are firmly settled now, having happily and succesfully survived their first winter.  Whilst holidaying there they had formed good relationships with a local family and were gently steered towards buying in a greek residential area rather than a development aimed at british buyers.  They bought 'off plan' and though there are always going to be a couple of niggles with any building project they experienced nothing like the troubles of that twit with the window.

So that's another destination added to my 'to go to' list!  Deedee
