Essential viewing! Trouble is - the producers really don't have a vested interest in things going well........
If everything goes smoothly (which building project anywhere in the world doesn't have its ups and downs?) it will not be "good telly".
Also - the editing could make even the most reasonable of people appear demanding/selfish/foolish etc.
That being said I'll be goggling with everyone else to look for tips and take note of any pitfalls during the renovation.
We were approached by a number of people making T.V programmes and/or writing articles when we were buying our house - all we could tell them was that several local people worked very hard and very professionally to help us, that we had to wait for a while and (eventually) we got the the house we wanted. Boring innit?
By the way - does anyone know how much cash these programes pay ?
