Hello everybody, I'm hoping to be staying in a hotel in Barbati for two months August September and I want to run my business which is internet based from there. I receive email enquiries via my website and my replies very often include photos and drawings so the file size can be quite large. I have GPRS set up on my Orange mobile which will connect my laptop via Cosmote but I think this might prove expensive due to the file size so  I'd prefer to use an internet cafe with email facility if anyone knows where they are located in the Barbati area. I'd also be appreciate  any advice on the subject.

My understanding is Orange roaming with GPRS will be around £10 per Mb!

Last year the only broadband location was Corfu Town and I made use of a very modern cybercafe situated up the road from the blue bus station heading up the street with more "normal" shops. Sorry I can't be clearer - I've been a long time away.

Thanks Phil, I'm sure I'd be able to find it. Anything closer to Barbati ? Ipsos maybe?

Do you remember how much the Broadband Cafe cost?

Helga's Travel Services in Barbati has an Internet PC you can use. It's only ISDN, but I managed to run my business from there for a few months =)

Hi nuffstrong

There's a great internet cafe in Sidari - with a tots play area & bowling to keep any teens you have out of your hair. It's right at the end of the main street - next to the carpark

There's also an internet facility (replace with an 'at') Roda (I think it's called The Pirates Bar) but the computer is set at the side of the bar & I found it a bit distracting

I know Sidari & Roda are a bit of a trek from Barbati but if you are really desperate....

Thanks very much 'just call me Shirley',appreciate your input,  I'll have a look at those two when I bob round and knock Mac & Suz up in Roda for a coffee.
