If anyone is interested in mediterranean gardening they may be interested in the AGM for the Mediterranean Garden Society which is being held in Corfu October 20th-24th.

Doug,

I am really interested in gardening in Corfu but that's one really big AGM. Is the AGM really 5 days??

Am I misreading something into this. My understanding of AGM is Annual General Meeting. Is thiswhat you mean???

Hi Graham

I have just been on the MGS website listed above. Your have not misread anything mate, the actual AGM is on the 23rd October, but they have made an extended weekend of it so as to visit various gardens, etc, around Corfu. Hotels can be arranged etc.

The website link above is good reading. Take a look at the message boards, there is a good article from someone living on the island with regards to the Olive Tree demise. (Remember there was a topic on this not so long back)
