I don't know where those stars came from. It should read "s**********s".

No need to worry. It is the way the system is designed to illiminate any foul words or words that show a foul within its spelling, ie, s**********s comes out with the stars in it, instead of s.c.r.a.p.s

Members will get the gist of the conversation.

Yammas, Chris.

Steve is right, you should have left it where it was unless you have a permanent home for it yourself, and even then you should check that its not lost, Do you know how many times i have had to stop people walking off with my cats this summer? why does everyone think that ALL the animals are stray? when i stop people and ask "where are you going with my cat?" the reply i get is "oh sorry, thought it was stray +was going to feed it at my apartment" I dont think it would be allowed on the forum if i aired my opinion of these "do gooders" ,people should make sure that theyre not taking an animal away from a good home before they start sticking their noses in!!!

Oh, the poor little soul

I would have done the same thing. I agree with Nell I think it would be a good idea to if possible get some posters put up around the area to see if anyone has lost it. Puppies only learn about their environment from what they experience very young and it sounds like this one hasn't had a very happy one. Having bred Shelties with my mum and brought them up in a loving home they were well equipped for the world outside. Not so this little un.

I do hope someone can help.

LOL

posters would be the decent thing to do, at least then, if somebody has lost it they can get it back, otherwise how do they know where to look for it now.

Well, Michhelaki - I asked for help not a lecture from you. If you can't help keep your nose out!

By the way - the first thing we did after feeding and watering him was print some lovely colour posters and placed them all over the place.

By the way, it's a dog not a cat and CLEARLY neglected.

Kev.

Looking at Kevalino's original post, he stated along the lines that the puppy was cowering in the roadside, weak, bedraggled, and need of food and water. The perfect reason for taking the puppy into care. Had he not done this, it is more than likely the puppy would have been dead by the morning. To me it was obvious it was dumped, for someone to find.

Yes, I agree, posters would be a good idea, and Kevalino has indicated he has done this, and has made contacts with others.

To me leaving any animal at the roadside, on the excuse that it might be lost, is stupid. To take the animal, and ensure its survival and safety is the human thing to do.

Kevalino, well done mate. By the way have you seen the following weblinks. They maybe able to help.

Well Kev I'm affraid I would have done the same as you! I couldn't live with myself thinking it may have been run down and killed or worse left to suffer. But they do say we brits are mad about animals. Hope you find a good home for it or even find its owners!!! I would think if they loved it enough they will thank you for comming to it's rescue. (see you support the best team in the world)

Kevalino, i was only stating that people should think before acting and i do hope you find a home for it, animals being removed unnessecarily can be destructive if you put posters up appealing for the possible owner than i stand corrected with all apologies to you but i know from experience that there are more people rather than less that wouldnt have done that and making that clear is important as many people read these forums and may think its fine just to "bag an animal" whenever they see "puppy dog eyes" if you cant find a home for it i hope you are willing to take the responsibility on yourself.

Thanks for all the messages of support. We have made progress and hopefully may have some good news tomorrow. He's on the mend and enjoying being properly looked after - so let's hope for a good ending.

Seabubbles - come on you whites!!!

Kev.
