Hi Homesick
LOL
I'm sure that if you have a really sympathetic GP you should be able to get the prescription on the NHS ..........any GP will offer advice as to diet etc.........but like everything else you'll have to pay for it.........!!!
How you go about getting it is a different matter................. ..
Unfortunately I don't know your gender but if you're male I suggest you do what men do best............next time you're a little bit ill.................flu or a cold maybe...............I'd lay it on really thick ...........lot's of long drawn out sighs and groans and comments like "ooooooooooohhhhhhhh my head" puff, pant and groan when you ease yourself in and out of the chairs ................you know the ritual.........get the wife to wait on you hand foot and finger till she sends you packing off to see the Dr.........keep practising, shouldn't take a lot as it's second nature to men to exagerate (take fishing as a prime example - all those tales of whoppers that got away or stories of how many pints they can hold or how many times they "pulled" ..........you know the sort of stuff!LOL ) and wend your way to the surgery..............hopefully by the time you see the Doc you'll have broken out into enough of a cold sweat..........(due to guilt at wasting his time ) that he'll think you really are ill and prescribe you just what you need!
If you're female there's no point even trying........the GP will either............ diagnose PMS, say you're menopausal or prescribe you Prozac!
I'm not really sexist..................honest!!!!!!!!!!
Regards
Linnet
