Hi all, we are coming to Kefalonia at the end of the month for a week. without it being too action packed, what would you say are activities/sights/places which are unmissable?
Also, it's my birthday whilst we're away so which restaurant would you recommend? We are staying in Skala.
Any tips or advice is very welcome, i can't wait!
thanks

Hi Blodwyn
We stayed st Skala in May and had a fantastic time. We ate in a differant reasturant every night and and didn't have a bad meal in any of them. My advice would be is dont just stay on the main street go down the side streets any you will find some good places to eat and good tavernas like the Captains bar and Nova sports bar. Have a good holiday. Kev

When we were in Skala we had a great meal in simposium(on the front), If you hire a car then drive the coast road calling at Myrtos,Assos and finish up in Fiskardo, its a long drive so start early but its well worth it, you can then drive back over the mountains. Go and see captain Vangellis in Skala and book a boat trip to Zante or Ithica, a great day out. Im sure you will have a geat holiday on Kef
