Just come back from sweltering Kef heatwave and we managed to find lots of lovely isolated beaches all over the island where you could be as free as the day you were born!
Hire a boat from Johnny at Boulevard Boats in Agia Efimia for the day (max 90 euros including fuel) and motor off up the coast. We found 3 beaches in secluded little coves inaccesible by any other means than a boat, where we anchored the boat, jumped ashore stripped off and got back to nature!
It was like being a castaway and was real liberating fun! Enjoy.
There were naturists letting it all hang out on Antisamos beach right at the end furthest from the beach bar over the rocks (an easy scramble), at Skala right at the end furthest away from the 'town centre', at Kuoni beach (southern end) and around Poros there were a few dotted here and there in isolated places. Generally if you go to the farthest possible tip of a beach you will find that it is private and possible to strip off and enjoy. We were told that if you see a Greek family approaching you should cover up a bit but other people told us that they didnt bother. Must say we didnt do the naturist thing other than when we were out on the boat, but we went to furthest points of beaches just for isolation and on some beaches it turned out to be the area with the most sand and least pebbles so easier to get into the sea.
