Hi - we are thinking of getting married in Kefalonia, as we had our first holiday away as a couple there a few years ago. A few questions if anyone can help.....

We don't want a standard conveyer belt wedding so is it better to go with a local wedding planer or do the leg work ourselves?

Is Kefalonia still as beautiful and relatively unspoilt? I wasn't a big fan of Lassi but we loved Assos, Sami, Katelios and Poros - are they still as fabulous?

Any tips??? Please help - thanking you in advance!

Well, we are getting married on 19th july, arranged by a local lady - in the town hall in Argostoli (infoatkefalonia-weddings.co.uk) and we are so looking forward to it !

We havent been to Kef for 2 years, but we still thought it unspoilt and Assos is a charming and beautiful as ever. Lassi is busy and Skala has changed since our 1st visit 8 years ago, but i still thoroughly recommend it !

Word of warning, sorting out the documents is a minefield ! But Donna has a translator in UK who has helped us no end and we are now all ready !

Hi just came back from two weeks on Kef. Visited Sami, Assos, Poros and Katelios and yes they are as beautiful as ever!
