Hi come on guys need your input! I am thinking of staying here in September - need a good view of the sea! Has anyone stayed there? Also where exactly are they? I am thinking they are down the road opposite Kathy's Supermarket? Or is there another way to get to them? As I will be travelling alone I dont want to have to walk down a "lonely spooky road" home in the dark!! ha! ha! All help appreciated!!

Currently in San Stef at the moment, I'll try and check them out for you. From what I've seen they are close to the beach with a great view and situated between the old part and new part of town.
Update from me, the weather has been really poor since I arrived on the 18th, only 2 days sun and the rest has been a mix of rain, thunder and cold winds, heres hoping the next 5 days get better.
Also the beach seems to have taken a bit of a hammering during the winter and is only about a third of its normal width.
That aside having a great time althogh my liver might despute that LOL.

Stayed at Vickis.
Excellent location, just up from the beach. The sunset is amazing.
Located near the Delfino.
Sort of walk up past the Athena Hotel road, on past the supermarket, around 100mtrs turn in left, just round there.
I know that is a bit of a poor guide, but I cant remember any more names.
Try for a room at the front. They are superb.

Just been there today, forget my original directions and I can backup Top Chefs comments, great location right on the beach.
Go up the main San Stef road until you come to the Sunset Taverna on the left with Kathys Supermarket on the right. Turn left just after the Sunset Taverna (there is a sign for the Delfino) and as Top Chef says its about 100 meters. Its a short distance and should be well lit so you will be OK at night.
Enjoy!

Thank you guys for your input - I have booked the Vicky now for end of September - really looking forward to it. I just love being near the sea and I will be nearly in it at the Vicky wont I? I looked at the website and the rooms look good, in fact I am going to ask to look at the two bedroomed apartment when I am there because my daughter and her friend want to go to Corfu with me next year and I have been told that I snore - so we need for me to be "quarantined" in a separate room ha! ha!
