Thank you for that info cris.   I had to have an Alfa bank account so ok.

But why am I not being badgered to take out a policy.  this has never been mentioned, I suppose the present owner is covered. Any bets the house slips down the mountain-side the day AFTER  THE HAND OVER!!!!!!!l

Lots to think about.         Aye Keira

No one was injured-they say it came from the sea at Arillas. Asfar as we know hit " only the Perros, Paradise and my friends house just before the new Mythos. Strange how things happen we live almost opp. the Paradise and no damage but the roar of it was so loud then nothing for a minute or so ( so quite)then again. we rent  our house so we have no insurance but i know it can be had from an agent ijn Corfu but the cost i don't know.

Where is ' your house Keira ' ?

It's not these things that cause the damage Angie, it's the weeks and weeks of storms. You can't plug things in the mains or plug in the phone due to the risk of lightning strikes and I know several people who had their TVs blown up as well. You are right though, it still beats living in the UK.
