Yes thanks Bruce I have been advised that the road is pretty steep!!! I will discuss with Mr M to see whether he would prefer to drive down there instead!!! We have spoken with friends in Sidari who have said that although very steep, it is accessible on a quad, just to take our time and it will be fine. Just out of interest our friends said though we could park up and get to Agni on foot!!! Is this possible though???

You could park at Nissaki Beach Hotel and walk, but the road is not particularly steep or bad, not nearly as steep as Kaminaki

Jan you took the words out of my mouth, the road down to Agni is fine Kaminaki well that's another story. Just a word of warning when you get to the bottom of the road each Taverna has it's own car park. Make sure you park in the Taverna Agni one which will be on your right as you go down. When you get on the beach Taverna Agni is on your left at the end. Have a fab time you will be glad that you went it's very beautiful xx

Thank you all for your replies and advice - looks like we have a few options to choose from now, if Mr M gets a sudden bout of jitters then we will park up and walk but hopefully all will be fine.

Really looking forward to the visit now though and you will have to watch out on the webcam of me waving!!!

Think what was said head for Kassi & follow the road around the coast you will come to it. I went last year but was a steep road down so decided not to go down, probably better off on a quad, the quads are great fun if you respect the roads, have fun...

Hi,
We have been down to Agni taverna many a time, the road is not that steep, but is narrow so obviously you have to take care.
Doubt if you will see Nathan at the taverna as he hasn't worked there for a few years now as he is far too busy with Agni Travel.
Enjoy, it is an absolutely beautiful bay, with Albania in what feels like touching distanced, perfect place to relax and watch all the boats/yachts that come in.
I love it there!

Hell of a hill back. Bad enough in a car! Easiest way to Agni taverna is by boat. Hire one for the day, well worth it.

You could always go down to Kalami and walk along the coast path to Agni. The road in and out isn't as steep
