Those prices arw trully amazing - I dont know how they do it - flights alone would cost more.  It just shows how much holidays have come down against other luxuries -in real terms -  - I remember paying those prices 20 years ago with Thompsons -    Bargain !

2 Adults and 1 child aged 11 was £2,300 for the first two weeks in july from GLASGOW!  We always get the rough end of the stick.  That was 2 weeks self catering in Sidari.

We booked our holiday last July, just happened across it on the Portland site whilst surfing the net.  It was too much of a bargain to miss as it was going from our local airport of Exeter.  Not easy to find bargains from there, Portland have changed our accommodation but I think I would still have booked the accommodation we now have if that was being advertised last year.

We have also booked for Roda in October. We booked this before christmas via Thomas Cook. We paid £217 each for a week, a  little dearer I know but there are five of us going and again we want to fly from Exeter and we consider this a good price for the convenience of flying locally.

Nowadays it seems to pay to book early.

Carol
