Hi Everyone,

this is my first post on this forum. I`m going abroad for the forst time with my boyfriend and am thinking of going back to Corfu as I went alot when I was younger.

I am just wondering how much an average meal cost over there? How much did people spend over a week of being there?

Thank you!

Hi Pink,

On our recent trip our meals averaged at about 30 euros for two people, with wine. You can get 2 course specials for as little as 8 euros  per person.

The meals go between €7 to €9 for set meals.

The cost of food and eating out is still very reasonable in Greece much cheaper then uk prices.

An average meal in Corfu would cost approximately £8-£12 per head, however, costs are very much dependent upon where and what you eat, fish being particularly expensive.....

..This subject as been brought up many times be for and is a hard one to dicuss...As it all depends how much you are prepared to take do you like a lot of courses with your meal do you drink alot with your meal...Are you going to a tavern to eat or a resturant...Harbor side taverns are a bit more dearer than the one in the side streets....It is just to endless to say....Just have a walk around first give your self time and compair prices of each place you visit Ect...Word of mouth from others that have eaten as to ware to go to eat will all help see what taverns are full see ware the locals eat...just try....But because a tavern is empty it does not mean it is no good you will often get better service and fine the food is to your liking than others that are full like we have done in the past...Apart from that have a great time in Corfu and try for your self like we do of the beaten track...Chris

Hi Pink.

Welcome and good choice on your holiday to Corfu! I am on a budget and can live like a queen in Corfu! Most of the eating places have set menus (three courses for approx 10 Euros).

I can only speak for Kavos/Aspro Kavos and Sidari, but eating is incredibly cheap and there is always a gyros pitta when your skint!
