Hi VNM & Frizzle thanks for the welcome we go on august the 10th fly out from leeds bradford airport which is handy as we look across the aire valley towards it on the horizon its only 10 mins in a taxi so saves us all the hassle of getting over to manchester we are staying in the Eleni apparts booked through thomson and are on the roda road as you go into sidari,just counting the days down now cant wait to get there

Hi Folks ive been working on the top of the new control tower at newcastle airport ive actually been on there for seven weeks and just had a thought as tomorrow will be my last day working on it ,is anyone flying out to corfu or anywhere from newcastle if so if you look towards the control tower i will be workin where the VCR (visual control room) is at the top just below the glass panels you might just catch a glimpse of me lol.

I get green with envy when i see all the planes taking off,not to worry soon be my turn roll on 10th august PS is anyone else flying out from Leeds Bradford on that date ?

Hi folks was just rummageing about through my drawers and came across some of the old greek drachma,it doesnt seem 2 minutes since we were using them and brought back happy memories,ive posted a pic of them as i guess some will be too young to remember the drachma and bring back memories for those old enough to have spent them i for 1 preffered them to the euro but i suppose things have to move on but it seems like the rest of european currencies excluding ours its a thing of the past now PS dont spend them all at once !

If I could I would pop down for a night, my daughter would love it!

I used to go to SOS bar and use their PC to log on the forum and tell folks about the weather etc. We used to go to Eves Garden for a steak then round to SOS for a few pink cocktails and some vodka jelly and then trawl the strip.

I loved the walk home to Acrodelon with the fire flys and the noise of the frogs and toads!!!

He has an umbrella me thinks!! Mind you, this rain is bad! My brolly was useless!

I think he needs a new bench, that ones broken!
