Thanks for your replies hope you all have a lovely time ( i am jealous now ) can anybody tell me what has happened to the old man and the donkey that used to be on the corner by Mcdonalds didnt see him this year wondering what has happened to him

I have heard that he died, and someone else took the donkey to look after .

I heard from a greek friend that the goverment paid him off, as he was causing too much trouble in regards to the health care of the poor donkeys.

Got to say Georges son Yannis is abit gorgeous too.

Personally i don't feel sorry for them man. He wasn't fair to the donkey. i walked past him 2 -4 times a day for 5 months last summer and seeing the donkey was just heart breaking.

But thats enough about the donkey man... either way the donkey is probably in better hands
