I never find it too bad, when I arrive.  Thankfully, our flight is the last one in from the UK, on a Monday - or at least it was last year, so I'm assuming it's the same this year.

It's the going home that I find the nightmare.  About 40 UK flights all leaving within the space of an hour.  lol

As people have said.  Just relax.  I tend to be totally relaxed when I touch down, cos I know I'm 'home'.  And it's the start of a fantastic 2 weeks.

Have flown on Mondays since 1988, but this year we are flying 22.45 Friday night with olympic....hopefully shouldn't be too bad, but who cares anyway.

The airports have improved greatly since we first started in Corfu, but the Greeks are so laid back and we love them, so it's really 'no problem'

Hi,

The last time we went we did our own flights, there were some big queues and I went right to the front, someone asked what I was doing, I asked why? I was told he was in the ???? queue I replied oh I am not with your flight and I need to find the queue I should be in, so went right to the check in, so if you want to be cheeky try that one .  I have to say we did need to get to the gate. Just say you are on a private flight and not with a package company that should also work.  If that fails run like hell .

We fly from Glasgow and its always a Monday.  The only thing I find annoying is when two flights arrive at once - the luggage carousel is a nightmare then!!!

this year the Glasgow flight is really early in the morning 0515!! - so hopefuly we will be in Corfu airport before it really gets going on a Monday.  In the resort by lunchtime and by the pool less then an hour later with a drink in hand!!!  Bliss!!!

Cant wait - roll on July 24th!

hi linda ,
last september , there were just 2 planes in airport when we landed , ,we waited 2 hours for 2 suitcases for some reason , but the quickest time we have got them has been around an hour , but as our members say ,
it`s part of the holiday ,
Just think of the sun . i`ll be trying the airport out again in just 3 weeks , and again flying on a monday , but night flight this time ,
keeping fingers crossed ,
catch you soon .
