This link will give you a list of airlines and tour operators that fly from Manchester on the different days of the week.  Just click on summer season and type in Corfu -

Does anyone know if the hand luggage allowance has changed? Last time I flew it was 5 kilos which doesn't seem a lot but if you take a big coat with large pockets AND a handbag, you'd be surprised what you can fit in. I had heard something about them raising the allowance, which would be even better.

It is a great feeling just walking off the plane and straight out of the airport.

hi

its still 5 kilo except for for easy jet who dont go to corfu theres is based on bag size not weight

as long as u dont make it look heavy you shouldnt have any problems

and monday flights are fine (thats what day we are going  12th june)

I know that Ryanair and possibly some of the other no-frills scheduled airlines have increased their carry-on allowances and cut the checked baggage limit (or even charge for anything you check in) in an effort to discourage people from taking checked baggage - so that they can cut down the turn-round time and squeeze more flights into the day.  I haven't heard about any of the charters doing it though.  I should think it would cause a big outcry if they tried to cut down the checked baggage limit when most people flying on charters are travelling for at least a week.

hi, re subject of waiting for luggage at corfu, this is down mostly to women, myself, wonky and 2 daughters are always heavily laden with luggage, not mine may i hasten to add, last year for instance one large holdall upon closer inspection was full of shoes, all womens,my contents were in a small backpack, and girls n wonky each with another case, once again at the end of holiday , the cry went up, i never wore half of them clothes or shoes, so cut down on the waiting time all you ladies, get a backpack and use as hand luggage, as i told my gang, and breeze through arrivals, and you will get two hrs longer in corfu lol cheers
