I don't see that taking the mikey out of topics put on this site

if you are just going to take the mikey then I wont be putting any more topics on this site as I find it very rude I have never been rude to anyone else who put topics on the site so don't do it to me

Sorry if it appeared rude - I thought it was a polite way of asking you (and others) to put punctuation in your messages so people could understand them better.  When you see a posting that just seems to be a continuous flow of words it may be off putting and therefore you may not get as much help.

Hi Dusty,

This might explain what the guys were on about

http://eatsshootsandleaves.com/esl.html

Please don't get upset...........Don't worry, they'll be alright when they grow up a bit.

Woa here we go again!

Is it that we are all suffering the Britsh winter (or should that be united kingdom?) or is it that we have run out of things to say and are now getting so picky?

The whole point of the book mentioned "eatsshootsandleaves", is about improving the general standard of punctuation, something that everyone could improve on.

For me school was a long time ago and have no desire to be lectured on my less than perfect grammar, The idea of this site is to provide help and information on the Beautiful Island of Corfu. Not a revision course leading to A level English. So please chill out guys whilst i agree that some posts are not the most easiest to read or understand but please dont put people off posting information for fear of making a gramatical error. If i have made some sort of error in this post please do not bother to inform me as i rearly dont care.

My reason for joining this forum was to share my thoughts and memories of corfu and find a way to promote the most magical place i know.

I am really fed up of this toing and throwing of the why fors and where fors of the CTG. Is it so hard to put a full stop here, a comma there, and the odd captial letter in its rightful place.

As I have said before, many times, this site is a multi national site, with many members from other parts of th globe. To try and read a post that is one long sentence, is hard enough for the UK members, let a lone others from different countries.

This thread is now closed.
