I've organised a car for the week with Avis through Thomas Cook.My flight leaves 0450 hrs on return and i was told by the T/C rep, that i should be able to organise with the Avis rep,to leave the keys under the sun visor for when they collect it about 1000 am(ive touched down in England by then). The idea being that we have the car for the full day and have somewhere to sleep, rather than walk the streets or pay for a room for an extra night.Has anyone any experience of this sort of thing or was it just a sales ploy?what about my deposit?what about driving to the airport, leaving the car in the Avis car park and posting the keys through the letterbox?Does any of this seem feasible?

Agree with Alison, no probs leaving the car at the airport.  Have also picked up the car on arrival like that - sorting out the paperwork the next day !

Do remember to top-up the take to the agreed level, plus a bit more to allow for travelling during the day.  The big companies can be a bit steep with their charges if you don't.

Have a great time in AG

AgiosGordis

Booking a car through the rep will cost much more money than booking one from an office in Agios Gordis. I'm sure you don't want to pay commisions to the reps and all the others involved.

Try Rolandos at www.rolandos-cars.com, they'll make the best deal for you.

Delivery to the airport with no extra cost at the time you want.
