Well people I'vE totally lost the plot. My scales are now broke and I've lost all intrest in being good. Feel frumpy
an only got 7 weeks for big Coast 2 Coast. Doesn't help course been getting really bad headaches to be told by doc that they are very bad migraines never had them in my life. He also added that it could be my age.ha ha not a happy bunny.

Diellas sell a muesli which says on the packet that it contains no added sugar. It's called Happy Nick! Unfortunately it doesn't break the carb content down into how much sugar it actually contains but at least there are only natural sugars in it. My OH is diabetic and buys this all the time.

Me too Malcy. I did OK whilst on holiday but haven't had the motivation since I returned home. However, I did lose 1lb this week at WW (even though I wasn't at all well last week and didn't eat much - still can't my head around the fact that I have to eat all of my daily points to lose weight)
Come on we know we can do it so lets all try that little bit harder this week! Good luck to everyone

Well, I was in Corfu until last Saturday, and gained 5lbs in a week I blame it on fluid retention, that Mythos does play havoc with your water levels LOL...I enjoyed every drop of my lunchtime beers, I enjoyed every single Metaxa in the evenings, and I enjoyed every meal I had...mainly healthy, with the odd treat thrown. Back to the grindstone as soon as I got back and have already lost 2 lbs...hopefully I will lose another 2 this week...how do I motivate myself you might ask? It's easy! I am off on a cruise 2 weeks today so if I can just get back to what I was before Corfu my clothes will fit, for the first part of the cruise at least! After that the long flowing maxi dresses will be on parade again LOL...xxx

Hope it helps. A diabetic diet is more about counting carbs and choosing carefully than just avoiding sugar as things like fruit can send the carb count soaring.
A 600 calorie diet is not a healthy diet for anyone...let alone to ''cure'' diabetes.
Hi Folks, need some support off you lovely people. I have been healthy eating for a couple of months now and have lost nearly a stone, but that not that good as it was mostly what I had put on, not really bothered with diet with holiday in June, Alans cancer and moving house and losing job, wasnt really looking after myself and did a bit of comfort eating. But had a health scare this week, got rushed into hospital with chest pains, thought I was having a heart attack, thank god Alan was at home, and its been diagnosed as angina, think the year caught up with me. Anyway, on positive note it was the kick up the backside I needed to keep me on the straight and narrow, already been swimming for a few weeks now and doing aqua aerobics, and joined a weight management club at leisure centre, so hopefully all will help. But as all know who are trying to lose weight its not easy,but am determined to get healthy, even if the weight does not come off as much as I want. Good luck to all who are trying, its not long off Christmas, so a little black dress would be nice. Sorry Malcy not for you!! Lol Ann xxx
