I had a health check at the Doctors this morning where I was weighed.
According to the Doctors scales I had lost 13lbs since last Saturday which I was going to claim as a record
Weighed myself at home again this evening and it would appear that there is a problam with one of the sets of scales

This thread inspired me to go back to slimming class after a break of two years and I have now lost 1st 6lb (9wks) ready for my hols! Alas, this years it won't be Corfu, but in my opinion, the next best thing...Cornwall!!!
So if you could now organise a little sunshine down there by next week, I'll be even more grateful to you!!!

Malcy - now you know why they say you should always weigh yourself on the same set of scales at the same time of day
Does anybody else take this to the extremes that I do? I always weigh myself in the morning, BEFORE I get dressed, AFTER I've had a poo and BEFORE I eat anything! I know it doesn't make a jot of difference to how much I've lost, but it does make a couple of pounds difference to what I can tell myself I weigh
I've now lost almost a stone and a half since I came off the steroids in March. OK, I know I could still do with losing another stone before I go to Paxos in a couple of weeks ( ) but I'm dead chuffed with what I've managed to lose.

I have 30 days til my holiday and need to loose 1/2 a stone which is achievable for me. Ive been very focused the past few weeks. Running on my treadmill everyday for 30 minutes and eating a lot more fruit and salad/veg. Alcohol has now disappeared from my weekends
And after all that hard work of losing weight I shall go to Corfu and trash it...

Well I have 9 weeks to go and I am being good by visiting the gym every lunchtime and either doing the cyling or rowing for 45 minutes... Luckily I am at our other office covering for staff holidays and the gym is just opposite... I think I would feel guilty If I didn't visit!!!

Elaine well done on your weight loss...fab news and have to admit I have the same weighing routine as you and ange...weigh when I get up, after the loo, after my brekkie lol. I can go up and down by 2 lbs! I have the scales under the sideboard in the living room, and whip them out at any opportunity.
I am back on the slimming world diet, but following to the letter now, but have a big weekend (again) this weekend, off ot London to see Bon Jovi, and having a meal and night out in London for friends birthday...then big party next weekend. Same old probs...but am going to stick to the diet even if I do indulge in a wee tipple or three! Hope I can lose some
