Hello - well I've done it - my first stone lost! Just though as I've only lost half a pound this week. I'm a bit disappointed but at least I haven't put any weight on.

Hi Viv - well I have now lost 12lbs!!! Although the other week I cheated more than I should and still lost a few pounds... but yes I'm still thumping and doing my zumba and have now been introduced to the wonderful world of abs classes. I could not walk properly last week after a 1/2 hour class as I thought I did not possess any more muscle in my stomach area at all!!! I was proved wrong and I felt like I had been taken down a back alley and had 9 colours kicked out of me!!! but I am perservering and my sister who at the beginning of the classes couldn't even do a sit up!! is now beginning to feel the full benefits of the classes (our trainer still picks on us both though!!)

They say you have three sets of muscle in your stomach. Obviously you must be getting to lower ones which look after your spine and rear. When you hit them you know everything is working great.
I really fancy the kickboxing. Gosh get rid of a lot of tension with them. With the kickboxing do you have to bend your toes at all only because I have steel pins in toes am a bit frightened about damaging the toes.

I'm watching Red Nose and feel guilty. I'm trying to eat less whilst so many don't have a choice. I've made my donation. The eye thing really got to me. Our 15 year old Border Collie has the same problem but too old to be safe to operate on.
My news is that I have now lost 1st 2lbs since 10th Jan.
I'm going into the wardrobe this weekend to see if I've dropped down a size for the old summer gear. My target now is to lose another stone before I see the Boy's at the Roxi Bar for our boat on 3rd June.
I think I'm the only bloke on this trip. Come on you fat guys give me a hand!
