I know Elizajay not easy, but dont beat yourself up I am sure all the exercise will help, keep it up and I am sure it will pay off. Well done Michelle on your weight loss. Thanks everyone for your encouragement, it all helps, especially when the will power disappears. xx

Totally agree elizajay. Motivation is a bit of a issue for me to. Walked into my local town yesterday. Well might as well say ran was going that fast. Took just over half a hour. Only problem is, went to pub with a friend had lots to drink. So decided to walk back. It might of burnt the bottle of wine off you never know. Can't wait for the Spring so much nicer.

LOL Viv Thump might sound good and believe me it really works ... but me and my sis dread it ... our trainer Adam is a tyrant but a great motivator even when you feel like giving up (and believe me every Tuesday me and my sis feel like giving up!!!) he is there encouraging you to work harder and work through the pain barrier. Last week he had us doing squat jumps and my god it hurt except for our trainer of course who I'm sure is inspector gadget with springs in his training shoes.
My sister says she is off to buy some new legs today so she can throw her idle ones in the bin!!!

Be Prepared is my motto at the moment
Some of you might remember I have become a none smoker!
Four weeks this week without a fag I was quite happy with the way I looked, clothes fitted me easily enough although I always opted for the same size and knew what suited me and what didn't.
Today I bought a dress Sadly I have to alter it!
Tooo large on the bust, shoulders and arm holes--should I take it back and get a refund
I should have known better than to purchase a dress with a side zip as they are nearly always fitted!
After struggling with the zip I asked the assistant for help--up it went no problem!
In fact when I got the dress home and tried it on once more, I managed to get the dress on over my head, without the zip being opened!
Have I lost weight?--No!
Why is the dress on certain parts of my anatomy tooo big?
Because I bought the next size up--in anticipation of gaining more weight and trying to hide my now Humpty Dumpty shape
Damned if I do and damned if I don't or--
Stuck between a rock and a hard place
The colour of the dress suits me
At least that's a positive!

LOL Ann it is!!! We never speak in the car on a Tuesday - we mentally prepare ourselves for the onslaught of squats, punches and sit ups with Adam... but once we have finished the training usually looking like drowned rats we are still happy we have done it and we do feel much better for it...

Maggy, you are doing a grand job on giving up the fags! Give yourself all credit for doing so well, and well, if you put on a few pounds, so what? You have plenty of time to get rid of that once you have conquered the dreaded weed! Think Baby Steps Maggy...one thing at a time XXX

Hi all
Sounds like some of you are doing well.
I've been a bit resticted with exercise for the last couple of weeks. Minor Op on back. Didn't want to pull out the stitches but still lost another 2 lbs!!
I'm now realy focused on what food I should not have too much of and it seems to be working.
Must admit I had a weak moment when I had to go to Mundesley on the east coast last week and had a chip and fish cake lunch in a car park looking out to sea. Lovely.

Well back on the Stomach Crunchies and other stomach straining excercises.
You may think that 10 Stomach Crunchies is not much but when you hold each one for 1 minute believe me when you get to the tenth one (10 mins) your stomach believes it has been put into another world (a world full of pain ) then there is the excercises where your back is against the kitchen units (sitting on the floor) bring your hands up to hold on to the work top and try lifting your legs of the floor and doing the splits with them. I can manage nearly 200 in 4 mins that is another one for the Stomach that brings on the pain.
As they say though No Pain no Gain. Who ever first said that phrase needs to be shot
Well another week hopefully another 1lb.
Good Luck Girls & Boys
Viv

Malcy - Mundesley...one of my favourite childhood holiday spots! In those days you could park your car on the beach the sand was so firm! I'm sure you worked off those fishcakes and chips by a lovely walk along the cliffs!
On my part, Gymophobics still going OK. I'm gradually increasing the intensity and amount of reps each week.
