One and a half stones sound such a lot to loose. Say 21 pounds and it does not seem so much.
Then on the other hand to have lost 21 pounds is fantastic. Well done you. Feel good about yourself. Remember age is just a number it is how good you feel inside that counts.

Well done Paleogirl, that is a fantastic weight loss. Know what you mean about being harder when you get older. But in the wise words of my hubby, cant stop the birthdays coming but can try do something about the weight. Dont you just hate them when they come over all clever and right to!! Keep it up and then when the birthdays come we will feel better about ourselves. Lol Ann xxx

I got on the scales this morning - been trying to lose a few kilos recently - and suddenly realised that I've lost a fraction under 13kg since the beginning of the summer. I'd only been actively watching my weight since September, although I knew I'd lost a little bit before then.
Chuffed? I most certainly am! But still a long way to go, at least the same again, if not a bit more. Not to worry, I feel like I'm achieving now and will be able to stick with it

Thanks Viv! Spurred on by my post I dug out some clothes that I haven't worn for years (been out and come back into fashion), and am delighted to be wearing my favourite top again at the moment

Well done Bill, its a lovely feeling when you get back in clothes you could not fit in. I always think thats a better reward than the scales showing your lighter. I have now put clothes away that have got too big for me and definately dont want to get them out again. Charity shop here I come.lol Ann xxx

Thanks for the kind words chaps - and all the smilies and stars! Much appreciated! Got to agree Weshamers, I definitely don't want to see my big lass clothes any more! There aren't many charity shops here on Corfu, but I shall do my best to get to one
