Heh you lovely people. I'm back from Halkidiki. Boy it was hot. I've not been near the scales. lol. Wouldn't say I've over indulged in food but certainly kept the fluids up. Been catching up on how everyone has being doing. Its brilliant. Everyone has done great and then allowing yourselves that breather on holiday is only natural or we would certainly crack up. My maxi dresses came in very handy. lol. Looked pregnant but what the heck. lol
Now its time to detox.

Well done Cads - Have to keep the fluids up, that's the most important thing.
I said the other day that I had lost 13lbs according to the Doctor's scales. I should have said 9lb. That is wrong too because Val had her check up last Monday and the scales she had were about the same as ours. So the Doc has a duff set of scales and I am absolutely gutted
BUT - I have now lost 4lbs since coming back from Paxos, some of that will be due to the very severe dose of 'MAN FLU' that I had to struggle through this week but did I complain? Did I ask for sympathy? I'm a man!!!
If I've recovered sufficiently I might try some light excrcise next week.

I just hopped on the scales this morning and am very pleased to announce that despite my very indulgent weekend (spent eating and drinking in London and at a rock festival)...I have lost five pounds in ten days! Off to another party today...but am truly in the zone now, shall not be partaking of any of the fabulous cupcakes there will be (it's a Mad Hatters tea party LOL...for my best friends daughter's 30th!)...but may have a few 'cold drinks' LOL well it's set to be a scorcher isnt it!

Well I came home from holiday three weeks ago and have devised a new diet. I eat a banana as soon as I get up (about 5am), have some home made fruit salad at work at 10 am with a little Greek yoghurt and honey, then when I get home from work (about 2pm) I have a few spoonfuls of cottage cheese with pineapple (straight from the tub lol). I have promised myself that if I do this, and stay off the beer (my downfall) then I can have whatever I like at night. So far I have lost 21 lbs in three weeks and so it seems to be working fine so far!

Thats fabulous Lynda...its pretty much what I eat to be honest, I am following slimming world, so I have a hard boiled egg and banana in the car on my way to work, huge salad at lunchtime followed by fruit and a yoghurt, then meat and two veg/roast dinner at night. Weighed myself this morning and I have now lost 7 lbs...not as good as you but still in the right direction...xxx
