Oh, Elizajay, how could you steal your sons last cookie!! Bet it tasted divine, always does when you pinch the forbidden. I am sure you deserved it, youve been good all week so good to have a treat. I have given all my grandchildren their eggs, so wont do what I did last year and have to run round shops on Easter morning replacing them, why does easter egg chocolate taste better than any other chocolate. Anyway, shopped today, no chocolate, no biscuits or cake, loads of fruit, and low fat yogurts, and salads, always easier when sun shining and no stress. After getting weighed at docs today, nearly kicked the scales through window, my weight has never gone up and down so fast, like a yoyo. Booked myself on toning tables and exercise class for Monday, so full speed ahead for hol lol Ann xxx

You are all doing so well what with the swimming, bike riding, walking and various exercise classes. I feel such a fraud becos I hate, absolutely hate any form of exercise. However I do have an exercise bike which I intend to start using instead of using it as a clothes horse, especially since I've just tried on one of my bathing costumes and it wasn't a pretty sight!!!

I have been trying out a "vibration station" machine -one of those contraptions that makes your whole body shake - from your head down to your toes. Again not a pretty sight as everything wobbles about. You are supposed to be able to lose up to one dress size in three weeks - the jury is out so we'll see.

Did OK at weightwatchers this week though and lost another 1.5lbs so I've lost a total of 22.5lbs.

Good luck and keep away from the chocolate eggs this weekend!

Rita - 22.5lbs You are a legend on our Forum!!
I can keep myself focused during the week with no problem but weekends are hard.
Two long holiday weekends don't help when we are off in 6 weeks to Paxos again.
I need to looe about another 7lbs to leave my holiday shirts sufficient room to move without help from my tum.

22.5lbs Rita thats amazin.
Malcy you so right, 2 bank holiday weekends in a row is not good. Even though I'm working both of them tends make you want a drink even more. Not one Easter egg has entered this house nor has any other form of chocolate this weekend so that has to be a bonus. Did have a rather chill day yesterday pottering around in garden but it got so hot had to down tools an chilled with a drink.
Off out hiking today to compensate. I've not been on scales since I left my diet club. Which I think was about 2 weeks ago. I daren't get on lol.

Off to do toning tables and exercise class, (only nifty 50s). Not 1 Easter egg passed my lips, oh sorry are we allowed to call them that now the PC brigade got their hands on another of our pleasures, want us to call it a spring egg, well they can cocoa, I gave my grand kids Easter eggs, and yes they all went to church so do know what Easter means, sorry to rant but that lot get my goat! On with getting sorted for move, painting, cleaning and boxes, dont mention boxes, only lived here 2 years and reckon to be a minimalist, I go to charity shop with stuff, and the tip on a regular basis, but still got loads of stuff to move. Oh well it all get done, on countdown, only 4 weeks today and have to be out. Should help with weight loss. Hope all had a good Easter and enjoyed the sunshine, put us in mood for Corfu, will know in about 2 weeks if doctor let Alan travel, he doing really well so fingers crossed, lol Ann xxx

Rita you are an inspiration to us all! well done xxxx

As for me the emoticons say it all lol

Have had a lovely Easter weekend, have eaten and drank to my hearts content...big family day here on Saturday, huge roast with all the trimmings, but on a positive note cooked and prepared it all by myself for 13 of us, so the running around and stress may have counteracted the calories LOL, went to a charity fundraiser Friday night, drank ++++++++++++
My 17 yr old got lots of eggs, he only likes the sweets so I felt obliged to eat some of the eggs LOL cant abide waste!

Hopped on the scales this morning dreading what they would tell me after my blow out...and am exactly the same HOWZAT???

Back on the treadmill tomorrow, good luck everyone!

(Anne keeping everything crossed for your Alan, and that you can get that holiday booked ASAP!)

xxxxxxxx

Well done Rita, thats excellant, I have got hooked on toning tables this week, been 3 times, I am aching at the moment, going to have a soak in bath before I go to bed, but have felt great all day. Used to use these tables years ago, but not seen any about for ages. The ones I am using are on the army camp at Weeton, but can be used by anyone, only £3 an hour session, or £20 for 10 a real bargain. If you work with the tables, they give you a real good work out, lot of people think its lazy exercise, but they excellent for mobility. Quite a few of the soldiers have used them, after saying it was soft exercise, but now admit it is not. I am moving in less than 4 weeks and am gutted, I dont think there are any near where Im moving, may have to buy some and set up a business, no excuse then for not exercising. Hope all doing well with healthy eating etc, not easy with all these bank holidays, but the good weather makes it easier to eat lovely salads lol Ann xxx

Hi Everyone, haven't looked in for a while. Well glad to see the post is still going I have been in UK for 3 weeks and just got back Tuesday morning. I was very aprehensive about destroying everything I had worked for being someones guest and not being in control of menus and shopping but I was very shocked to find that I had lost half a stone while I was away!! So thats a total of 23lbs so far for me. I am no angel, I must admit I do save up my syns for the weekend so that I can have a drink but one of the things I bought when I was back was some fry light,it is brilliant for making guilt free chips and roast potatoes!!
Anyway well done everyone it doesnt matter how long it takes to lose the weight, as long as it stays off, and if you fall off the wagon, climb back on as soon as you can!!

Rosy
