Thanks Rita. It is a learning process at the moment. Got to inject twice a day. He cant really afford to lose weight as his so thin to start with but. It sure is going to help me. We will all be helping him. As you say it will all be OK and for the better.

Hi Cadbury, Alan my hubby is also diabetic, he loves his food, but once you get into the routine of what to eat and what to avoid it does become less of an issue, and there is so much help now, GP, Dieticians etc,and it does help with the health side, you eat healthy, so become more healthy. Wish you all the best and hope its not to difficult for your son and your family to cope with. Lol Ann xxx

Well another 1lb for me, and I have sinned a little over the past few days (a rasberry bakewell from Asda yesterday was one of those sins!!!)
But! I did two - yes two classes yesterday. I threw myself into the thump class at 6.00pm with my sister and this week Adam decided to incorporate a little bit of Thai boxing and threw that into the mix too, a great work out though... then straight into Zumba and some abs work at the end... my god we were exhausted.
Good Friday at 10.00am sharp my and my sis have been roped into Kettlebells and then a 30 minute free personal session with one of the trainers, but we are still hanging in there.

Well today is my first day of biking to work. Did dummie run yesterday. I'm a bit nervous of going it alone, ie few quiets specs, but I'll be fine was I get going. It's not so bad going but there's a couple of nasty hills coming back one being a ploughed farmers field. Finish work at 6 should take me just over a hour, but over the next few weeks I'll aim to get quicker.
Not been weighed because of the drama's we've had with son, I was mistaken, he has to inject 4 times a day not twice. Healthy eating has taken over already so I'll wait a couple of weeks to see the benifits.
Yous are all doing so well.

I had A ROLO COOKIE! God forgive me! Have lived on salads for lunch and tiny teas all week, but had a bad week family wise and I dont know what possessed me, had a small wholemeal roll/no butter/lean roast beef and salad on it for lunch today ...then took my sons last cookie!!! I bloated up immediately because I am not used to such rubbish, had to open top button of my shorts...
*hangs head in shame*
But went to woods with dog immediately after, which is not your normal woods, up hill down dale, millions of steps, so hopefully did my penance :(
