Michelle the topic is great, full of fun and good humour, only one persons comments have left a black mark on the topic---I think her comments should be removed!
We all know how to live the healthy life style---our
intentions are good---do we back slide---yes---is eating healthily boring---yes sometimes---so we have a blow out over the winter and sadly have to kick start ourselves into a good healthy eating regime yet again.
That's life for most of us and a very enjoyable one at that! After all a little of what ya fancy does ya good!

We ALL overeat in the rich West. So no self-righteousness eh thin folks.
Some people are genetically set to be BURNERS and overeat but stay thin.
Some people are genetically predisposed to be STORERS and lay down fat as an excess store of energy.
Come the next famine, GOODBYE ECTOMORPHS!! (The skinny guys)

I agree Maggie - I actually slipped off myself this weekend and indulged in a veggie curry with a little nan bread and 1 poppadom!!! Then blew it out of the water when I had a belgian chocolate eclair!!!
But today back to museli with fat free yoghurt and a healthy lunch.
I have become unusually addicted to the total fat free Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit, it must be the sweet and sour taste of the yoghurt but I absolutely adore it. I am hoping I will be able to get this fat free version when I visit in May. I have seen the Greek yoghurt in abundance but never looked at whether they have a fat free version. I hope so because I am looking forward to having that each morning for breakfast with some fresh fruit, and it will keep me away from the fry ups!!!

I'm a lost cause lately!
Nine weeks without a cigarette!
I think I've gained a LB a week since stopping smoking!
A retirement party for me last Friday for services rendered to our local playschool for being their treasurer
for 25 years!!!
A buffet for thousands
Wine and Spirits no diet coke though only full sugar stuff
To top it all the same person who presented me with a 60th birthday, full fruit, brandy, royal icing and marzipan cake (half of it is still wrapped in foil in an airtight container) also made me a retirement cake exactly the same only with a calculator drawn in icing sugar, I had to leave it behind as I couldn't carry it, my arms were full of the buffet, wine and left over Bacardi, I left the coke behind it was the least I could do!
The person who made my cakes arrived at our house the next day---I had left a box of chocolates behind

LOL Maggy how thoughtful of you leaving the coke behind!!!
Well done on your non smoking effort though, keep up the good work you are doing great...
And please save me some cake, or if you are taking some with you in August I will pop to yours for a piece!!! I will follow the smell of the marzipan...
From a plump girl who loves cake...

Robbos - priceless Gave me my biggest smile all day!
Mrs M - I'm pretty sure you can get '0%' Greek yoghurt in most of the larger supermarkets here, and you can definitely get the 2% variety, which surely is only a small sin
Maggy - thank heavens you're still off the weed. Keep up the good work - it's far too tempting to light up in Marika's when you're about - although I've been 13 years without smoking and now 3 weeks without any alcohol (feels like years).
Best wishes, Bill (aka Storer number 2)

Hi Rosy yes I have discovered it here in the UK and really do have a taste for it so I am hoping I can get it in Sidari when we return in May although if not I will walk up to the roundabout and try there.

I know this is totally off the food topic (or lack of it in my case!!) but can anyone tell me where the nearest florist is based in Sidari. I do vaguely remember someone talking about one I'm sure near the roundabout but can someone point me in the right direction.
We are hoping to visit the local florist in May for a few nice bunches for our friends and need to know where to go.
