If you have IBS you should speak to your doctor before having the C.I.
I have heard conflicting reports about it, but if it makes you feel better then why not, won't make you lose any weight though apart from the pounds in your pocket.

Thanks Angela, spoke to the therapist who is doing the procedure and she assurred me it safe for IBS and GPs reccommend it, but I will now check with my GP as dont want to make it worse. Only know one person who as had it and she has IBS and she says she been a lot better, but I know everyone different, so will now do this. I know it wont help lose weight but if my stomach isnt bloated all the time, hoping it would help make me feel a bit better. I swim at least 3 times a week which is a struggle when working full time, but find it helps keep me motivated to stick to healthy eating. One gets to a point when I will try most things if helps keep me fit Annxx

Bang goes healthy eating, Im full of cold, sore throat, and cough and aching all over and I just want to eat!! Had homemade cheese pie and beans followed by rhubarb pie and custard for tea last night, having whiskey all ins with honey and lemon. Today no better, just had a scone and jam, dont usually have sweet stuff in but hubby went shopping and he been deprived of treats, so went a bit overboard. Need to get better then I can stock up with healthy foods and get back swimming. Found out my job as definatley gone, so need to find something or will be at home with too much time on my hands. We be moving house soon as cant afford this house without my wage, so that keep me busy for a while. Roll on June nice weather and holidays, seems a long way away, but keep looking on here for time being only 92 days xx

Good advice. I am trying to drink green tea instead of coffee - recommended by a physio I met last week. Have tried green tea with apple and pear and it's delicious!
Also got weighed last night and stayed the same weight - however I did go out with the family last weekend and had a great time so no regrets - you cannot deprive yourself all the time. So total weight loss to date still 13.5lbs - gosh I did think I would have shifted half a pound to get to my first stone but still there's always next week.

Well done Rita. I bought some green tea on Monday, but unfortunatley I think it tastes vile. I have tried not to drink tea or coffee for a while now but have an odd coffee in the mornings when I am slow getting going. Did not know they have other flavours so I will look out for those. My friend drinks green tea all the time and swears by its benifits, shes always been really slim, dont think I been as slim as her since I came out of nappies so I try anything once. Hope you get to your stone next week, it took me since 4th Jan to shift mine, but hopefully can get another one off before holiday in June lol Ann xx
Well done Rita at least there was no gain and you had a relaxing time with family.
Other half drinks green tea. I cannot drink that, we picked up by mistake the other day green tea with lemon in it.

Rita your doing so well. I'm totally off track, I suffering like Weshamers. Sore throat aching all over an hot and cold and generally feel like UGGGGHHH. So not in mood for any sort of strict regime. Saying that I really dont fancy food and, wait for it, the thought of a brandy is making my stomach churn. Hot water an lemon is in order and a early night.

Well, we sold our house end of January...and things have been ambling along, with a move over Easter suggested...but today estate agent rang and said we all ready to go...LIKE NEXT WEEK! So I am hoping and praying that in the frenzy I will be in over the next couple of weeks packing and unpacking...surely I should lose some weight, from the stress if nothing else!
