Well done Rita on your weight loss - don't get disheartened when you don't lose anything one week - it's coming off that's the main thing.
Me... I have lost 1lbs this week but it's bringing me a step closer to my dare I say 'normal' weight (by that I don't mean what the experts say I mean the weight I am happy with!!!) I have dropped again this week with my BMI too which is now well on it's way to being a normal rate. Still a way to go but still doing the gym and my classes and healthy eating - with the odd few sins thrown in for good measure...

Oh you's lot are all doing so well. Rita I am so impressed. Where as I am doing totally rubbish. Exercise is not a problem. Did a wonderful 15 mile hike other day then a friend and I did the 27 mile circut of Kielder reservoir. [excuse the spelling. Yes a wee bit sore but felt totally fab afer but on both occassions ended up with the red wine an just wanted to eat when got back. So ended up with the 1lb gain this week. Its my own fault. So as from today I most stick in. Got 23lb to lose. I need help.
Cads needs to beat the flab lol

Well said I was not going to keep weighing myself, but go off how my clothes fit, but could not resist the scales cause for first time felt a bit slimmer than when I started the healthy eating on 4th January. Glad I did cause I lost a stone. It will give me a bit of a boost, if I can keep this up I should be over 2 stone lighter when I go to Kassiopi in June. Keeping fingers crossed we get there, Alan went for his CT scan yesterday, sixth time hes been to hospital in 4 weeks, they seem determined to get to bottom off his problem, should get all results in about 2 weeks so hoping it nothing they cant make better. We got busy year ahead, I been made redundant so looking for job,we moving back to Darwen to be nearer family, the 7th move in the 12 years we been together, hope its the last, but when life keeps changing got to go with the flow, well thats enough rabbiting from me, need to get my jobs done before family come for tea all 8 of them!!xx

Well done Rita - I think I probably lost a bit less than a pound this week but I didn't go up.
The most rewarding thing, and I'm really quite chuffed.
I've dropped down a waistband size. I can now comfortably fit into trousers I've not been able to wear for quite a while (no Viv not the flares). If this keeps on I might be able to fit into my summer linen shirts without straining the buttons.

It's Clean Monday here in Greece tomorrow. The start of Lent, which for most Orthodox Christians means doing without meat and meat products, dairy, fish but not without shellfish, olive oil and wine up until the big feast at Easter.
If the rules of penitence are to be observed strictly, no food should be eaten between meals during this period and smaller quantities should be consumed at mealtimes,
